History:
Part I - Endurance of the Heart: "“I miss you, Mom…” Her voice was a quivering flow, her hands shook and her heart thumped with every everlasting pour of the beeping ring that signified her mother’s death. Scarlett lifted her hand and pressed her icy knuckles to her cheek, closing her eyes.
One last feel. Just one.

Scarlett hadn't always been a devil. In fact, she was plenty a human. Something more disgusting.
Growing up, Scarlett lived a life that was a little on the rough side. When she was born, she had both of her parents behind her Ryder and Julia Moorfane. A young couple that couldn't be more happier to have their new-born baby girl with straight, brown hair and soft hazel eyes. For as long as she could remember, she loved them both dearly. Even more, she was a daddy's girl up until the age of seven when Ryder left her and Julia for good. Little did Scarlett know, Ryder was an alcoholic. He had a problem and wasn't willing to get it fixed and in the end, sustenance always won. From the age of seven onward, Julia developed into an overbearing mother. Set on completely sheltering the likes from Scarlett and protecting her from the sins of what the world had to offer. She didn't realize that sin is what she fed off of. At the age of fifteen, Scarlett never bothered with peer pressure. She didn't feel the need to have sex because her friends did it or drink or smoke but when her mother suddenly contracted breast cancer. The only strength she found was in those drug-bound influences. She smoked and she drank. Everything seemed like a whirl and blur, a spiral that never ended. This secretly helped Scarlett through the time her mother took in healing and chemotherapy.
Part II - Awakening.
"The seemingly innocuous two red orbs bounded to the figure’s face were serenely lamenting but in that instant the shadowy form reached out with a single large hand and gripped at her arm firmly; tugging her in a heaving swift motion until she found herself pushed up against the figure’s body. Scarlett felt an outrageously, obscure energy flow through her like lightning before a dreary storm. A rush of static passing through her veins. The skies lit up to a daunting, bright but dulled orange in response."
When time healed over everything, Scarlett eventually found herself a job at a near by cafe. There she also met a man by the name of Darien Hacklewood, a regular that visited the cafe for morning coffee and sweet bread with a side of eye candy (which was constantly Scarlett). Turning twenty-three, she moved out of her mother's house and into a small, beat up little apartment in uptown New York. She spent her days working while running into the obsessive Darien and finding new hobbies or just spending time with her best friend, Beatrice, who she'd met during her earlier years in middle school. Her sister who always seemed to look after her. Time passed. Seasons changed and it eventually came down to the last Winter. Julia couldn't escape what came to her. Her immune system wasn't strong enough and the ailment hit her again, however, this time, it was fatal. For days, Scarlett was in and out of the hospital; hoping to see a new day where the blazing sun could shine upon her mother's chocolate, graying locks. Where she could witness those laugh lines express themselves to her in happiness. It never happened. At 1 AM in the morning, Scarlett lost her mother to an illness. Scarlett also lost a little bit of herself too.
Falling into another undesirable habit, Scarlett began binge drinking. She longed for comfort. She longed to never be alone again and yet, all she could realize is that that was the sad truth about her life and herself. In the cold frosted air of New York City. Months went by after Julia's death and the only solace she found was in her best friend, but had she already been lost before then? She withdrew from the liveliness of society and drowned in her mourning sorrow for months until on one fateful night; the real rebirth was about to begin. After stubbornly attempting to yank Scarlett from her apartment, Beatrice and an old school mate, Celeste went out for a night in the club. Dancing and drinking. Scarlett lost herself on the dance floor for some time when she had one too many shots before hand. There, Darien approached her and attempted to take her home. She instantly refused and pulled herself away, glancing around, only to find a drunken Beatrice with a guy and a whorish Celeste with multiple others. Scarlett left. She headed out of the building into the cold showers of the night that pelted her dark brown leather jacket. Darien followed her. He chased her into a dead end of an alley way as water now drenched her hair but when he tried to force himself on her, she slapped him and stepped back. In a fit of rage, Darien pulled out a pistol unexpectedly and relentlessly shot Scarlett exactly six times in her body. One in her chest, one in her right arm, her left leg, her stomach, in her ribs and one in her hip. After the overwhelming realization of what he had done, he dropped the gun with a loud clack on wet concrete and made a run for it. Scarlett fell back, trembling from the mixture of pain, shock and coldness. Was this really the end? Her vision blurred once and then cleared. She began choking up blood, a thick rivulet of it streaming down her jaw and into the hallow of her throat. In her last minutes, she saw something. It was a light. A bright, pure white light. At first glance, it gave her a sense of comfort yet there was a feeling of despair that followed. A large dark silhouette phased beyond the light. A large hand reached out to her. Thick, blood-stained, talon-tipped fingers curling in to beckon her to it. Scarlett couldn't have been left more speechless but in such hopelessness, she closed her eyes as tears slid down her temples and suddenly the pain was gone.

Powers/Abilities: Scarlett is a Devil deriving her powers from Arcane Magic Conjuration primarily. In Melee combat, she uses Short Swords, one of which is a tad shorter than the other (Long: Lothkir. Short: Yothkir). The Short Swords contain a Wizard's magic in them.
The Gift of Fire: As a Devil, she has Fire Immunity; although it may burn her it will have no real damage impact and can be easily countered through her various abilities.
Construct Art: She is able to conjure any kind of creation from the elements in her surroundings, including Fire, Water, Earth (Primary), Ice, Smoke, Metal, Wood (Blood, hehe)... etc.

Shadow Twin: Scarlett can create a replica of herself but in shadow form. This creation can intervene with the fight using the shadow realm. Lasts until it’s killed.

Arcana Weaponry: If need be, she is able to create Weapons out of pure Arcane Magic, the usual being a Bow and Arrow, however, this takes longer to come into effect as the energies are not bound to anything, they are conformed and molded like clay.

Crystallization By Blood: Scarlett is able to secure her energies and once done so, can allow them to flow through her opponent with a single touch; once the touch has come into contact with the opponent’s skin, their blood will slowly begin to thicken before entering a semi-crystallized state making it harder for the blood to pump through the body ever so slowly, once the blood is crystallized properly and stewed for 2 rounds, it will make its way to the heart and begin to induce a pain agent through their blood stream, causing great amounts of pain and weakening them by 35% of their strength.

Inconvenient Pet: Using just a drop of her saliva, she can create a worm about the size of a Pin Needle with Hallucinogen-inducing effects on the Infernal Brain. Once it burrows through the ground (About 2 Rounds), finds its host by aura and comes into contact with them, it enters through the skin and swims in the blood stream until it reaches the Brain where it bites into the frontal lobe (More specifically the Primary Motor Cortex) releasing the chemicals, causing the opponent to feel faint and then see hallucinations.

Personal Ice Chamber: Scarlett is beginning to secure her abilities towards the cold just as her infernal nature dictates. She is able to summon a large puddle of water that tunnels into the ground by a good 20 ft. under her opponent and a radius of 10 ft., engulfing them. If the opponent fails to resist the spell, they are frozen in a block of ice just under the ground’s surface. This deals ice damage automatically. They stay like this for 1 round but slows down magic casting and physical quickness for 3 rounds.
