Cambodia, a beautiful country located in southern Asia. Filled to the brim with jungles and temples, lost in time and wrapped in the tender embrace of the foliage. Stone, man-made gave way to the will of the jungle, splitting apart for trees to reach the guiding sun. But at the moment, the sun kissed the horizon, their gentle embrace signaling the end of the day and the nearing of the Witching Hour. The rivers surface was unbroken, fish darted around beneath it's surface and eyes pierced the jungle waiting for the most opportune time to strike. A boat, simple, almost like a canoe carried Alpha down the river. His bottom half covered in a pair of baggy silk pants, kept around his waist with a tightly tied crimson silk ribbon. His torso was clothed in a deep set black robe, kept untied lightly revealing his muscular physique. A wide-brimmed straw hat hung lower over his face, keeping his pale features from the view of the surrounding piercing eyes. His hands clung gently to the paddle which he used to guide himself along the river, gently parting the surface of the water to send himself drifting on. Though in truth, he had no destination, he was simply rowing onwards towards nothing in particular. It was at the moment his next stroke entered the water that the foliage around him ripped and was split apart to make way for two hurtling black masses that attempted to slam into him. He stepped back and brought the paddle ripping up from the water, sending a wave into the face of one of the creatures. The pure impact of this wave sent it to the side and the water blinded it for a short moment. He continue with the movement, stepping towards the other creature that ripped towards him, sliding his top hand down the handle of the paddle and bringing it down as if he were chopping wood with an axe. The creature slammed into the water and let out a howl in pain as it's companion who had landed in the boat rose. A gibbon, normally of modest size and only slightly aggressive behavior this creature was far different from it's family. The moon rose in the distance, casting it's pale light upon the thing and bringing it's details to Alphas gaze. Piercing crimson light flowed through it's veins and strange cyclopean jagged crystals grew from it's body in random patterns and sizes. It stood at a horrid seven feet tall, and looked to weigh somewhere near two hundred pounds. It launched itself towards Alpha, paws outstretched to try and maw flesh. The hands of the creature found nothing, as Alphas stance dropped and his left hand planted itself firmly on it's nose. Sending the nose back into it's skull and rupturing it's brain. The creature fell to the side into the water, foaming from the mouth and shaking.
